Samsung has announced its slick
new S5600 touch cell phone. This new touch phone offers a large 2.8-inch QVGA
(240 x 320 pixel) resolution touchscreen display and Samsung's own TouchWiz user
interface for intuitive web browsing and navigation. The S5600 also packs in a 3
megapixel camera with Smile Shot, for great photos and video. There is also an
accelerometer built-in, so that the S5600 is able to rotate its display easily
from portrait to landscape mode as needed.
The S5600 is well connected,
with quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support and dual-band UMTS
(900/2100MHz) with HSDPA for high-speed data. The Samsung S5600 also comes with
Shazam's Find Music service, which enables fast identification of music by
recording a quick clip of a song. The S5600 also sports Samsung's adapted
Gesture Lock feature, which allows users to unlock the phone with a drawn letter
on the display screen.
